PANJABI
Panjabi is our cultural clothes. We are Muslim. We have two holidays. One is Eid-ul-fitr and another one Eid-ul-adha. Eid-ul-fitr is celebrated after the end of ramadan. There is a clothes called Panjabi.Which sleeves are long and leath is also long. People choice are different types of color such as red,black,blue,yellow,orange,etc. for the Panjabi.Panjabi is not religion cloth,but it is a cultural cloth. Panjabi is based on our culture. Besides the Eid celebrations we wear Panjabi in our family programs,wedding etc. I like this cloth so much because it is cultural and it’s very comfortable to wear. It is not like any other clothes like shirt,t-shirt,jeans. I brought two panjabis when i came here. Now i wear those on Eid and cultural or family program.Living in west or Australia it’s very rare to see the Panjabis. One of the interesting thing is that we’re cousins wear same color of Panjabis. My favourite color for the Panjabi are red and blue. It’s a great experience to wear Panjabi. Sometimes when i go to Mosque, i wear Panjabi. I like the Panjabi. Sometimes i get Panjabi as gift for relatives. Panjabi is very nice cloth to wear.
