Palestinian Flag
By Ameer Saleh I chose the Palestinian flag because it bring back memories from when I was in Palestine. The Palestinian flag is something I use but not all the time. It is hanging in my grandma’s house in Palestine. The colors of the flag are red, green, black, and white.
The flag is to remember the memories from the time I was in Palestine with my cousin. We had so much fun together when I was there. We went to the arcade, we played go karts and more. It was so fun!!!
My home country is Palestine and the food there is so good. The best food I have eaten is a dish called chnafa. It is a sweet, traditional Middle Eastern dessert.
The Palestinian flag teaches me about my land, where I am from and where my family is from. The Palestinian flag is related to me and my culture. It means so much to my culture.
In Muslim culture we have a holiday called Ramadan. During this holiday we fast for a month which means we only eat when the moon comes up and then again when the sun goes down at the end of the day. Iftar is when we break the fast. Ramadan ends with Eid. On Eid, we get a lot of toys and pray 5 times a day.
