The author who I watched was named Viet Thanh Nguyen and his object was a picture of his parents' grocery store in San Jose, California. The object I chose was my Orthodox Bible.  I chose this object because it symbolizes my faith and belief in my religion and our lord, God. The Bible has not only helped me out but also my family out during tough times. For example, during school and work, I love reading the Bible because it includes religious morals and reasons that can teach me important lessons in the future. I believe that reading the Bible will get me closer to God. When I get closer to God, he will always bless me and my family. If you think that the only reason you should read the Bible to get something from God, like money, then you are wrong. I think this because I don't only read the Bible to get help, but I read the Bible to show gratitude to my Lord because of all of the things he has blessed my family and I with.
