I was born and raised in New York City to Dominican parents. I'm the youngest of 4 children. The most popular sport in the Dominican Republic is baseball, but in my household, basketball takes the lead. My brothers and I loved watching and playing basketball. Now, we each live in different parts of the country, myself moving to Louisiana in 2016. Basketball connects me to my brothers and the memories I have growing up with them in New York City. This hat represent those memories and a reminder of my true home.
