My family and I migrated to New York from Nepal in 2004. This passport is expired, nevertheless, I am currently in prosses of applying for applying for US citizenship. It is hard to believe but I have been here for 14 years but did not want to give up my Nepali citizenship but now I am ready. I will forever keep this passport with me it reminds me to be humble and where my family and I came from. It reminds me of the amazing culture I try to follow here and how important family bond is.
