My family comes from Cairo, Egypt I always loved everything about my heritage and where I come from, I lived in Egypt until I was 6 years old then came to America .My mom wanted to give me a better education and lifestyle so she wanted to com here.2 years ago I was going through my jewelry box and my mom had a charm which was, queen Nefertiti she was the queen of Egypt and one of the most powerful woman in ancient times, her name means ( The beautiful one is come ) known for her beauty. I took it and have been wearing it since then. I feel really attached to it, it symbolizes where I come from and that it will always be with me no matter how far I may be or when I don't visit that much.
