“Ladybugs are lucky.” This is what my great-grandma told me when she handed me this golden watch necklace. I remember the happiness I felt when as her shaky hand hovered above mine and gently dropped the necklace into my small, opened hand. Because I was only six, I remember feeling so happy that I was the owner of this necklace. Whenever we would go to a fancy dinner, I would wear the necklace. A few months after my visit, she died. Every time that I see this necklace, I remember the time that I visited my great-grandma and remember her smile when I pushed her wheelchair and made her day visiting her.
