Necklace
My object is a necklace that was originally my great grandmother's, she bought the necklace while on a trip to Spain. The necklace has small blue and black beads that are made out of wood. The last time I visited my grandma she got out a box of jewelry, the box was hers and her mothers, and she let me and my siblings go through it. There were a lot of cool things in the box, but I picked out a bracelet and a necklace while my siblings picked out their stuff. There were a bunch of cool things, like rings and other jewelry. My grandmother told me that her mother got the necklace from Spain. She said that her mother used to travel all over the world and got a whole bunch of cool things from a whole bunch of cool places. The necklace reminds me of my great grandmother. She was the one to buy it, but also she loved to travel and she got the necklace while traveling. The necklace also connects me to my grandmother because she was the one to give it to me, and she too likes to travel. I think it's important to remember your grandparents and having something that used to belong to them, and you have on you at all times is a pretty good way of remembering them.
