Necklace
My item is a chain I received for my 15th birthday. For my birthday I had a traditional Quinceanera, which is very similar to a sweet 16 here in the U.S. This particular chain was given to me by my aunt and her husband. Before I had turned 15 my aunt had promised me a nice chain, some ear rings and a ring. My party was in Honduras and her and her husband traveled to Honduras to be able to be with me on that very special day. My uncle took me my gift and I liked it very much. Then about 3 months later, I decided to come to the United States and managed to cross the border safely, once I was settled down here in the United States my momsent me my chain and the other jewelry so that I could have it with me. Unfortunately one day I went to Kalahari resort with my family and when I was in the pool my Ear Ring fell off and it was lost in the pool . Today I just have my chain and ring, they are very special to me which is why I always take care of them.
