Necklace

When I was 10 years old I came home from school one day to find out my Aunt had died in her sleep. Notably, today all I have to remember her by is this. On the other hand, it is a religion necklace that represents Judaism and Catholicism. When she passed away I got the necklace because my mom and her other siblings gathered all her things, and distributed them because she did not have a will. As a matter of fact she didn’t have one because she passed at the young age of 50 years old and it was very unexpected. Additionally, this object connects to me because it represents how my mom’s side of the family is jewish and my dad’s side of the family is catholic and how I am both. Moreover, it’s important to me because it reminds me of my Aunt who I was very close with. By way of example, the summer before she passed I visited her in California where she lived and stayed with her for a month. It also is a reminder of the fact that my family is a mix of two religions despite the fact that we are not that religious. I myself am not biased toward either religion I am connected to both. Judaism from my mom’s side and Catholicism from my dad’s.
