This is a world map that my mom gave me from her childhood. She was born in California, but moved to Washington when she was two. I don’t know exactly when and where she got it, but I know it was after she moved to Washington. Afterwards, she gave the map to me and I put it on the wall of my room, in front of my desk. I look at the map every day when I do homework or brush my teeth. Because of this, it has grown in value to me. Right now, my map is in a bad condition because it has been folded and ripped for a long time. My dad was born in Korea in 1981 and moved to America when he was 6.
