This year for my birthday, my father’s parents gave me my great-grandfather’s violin. My great-grandfather used it for playing in school and now I use this violin for playing in church and in recitals. Playing in church shows people that I am proud of the religion that I practice, which is Christianity. It encourages people in this difficult year and shows my love and respect for our God. My story connects with many others because of how many Christians inhabit the United States and the rest of the world.
