My grandmother lived in Ohio for the majority of her life, until college. She had 6 siblings and a few were beginning to move away from home and she followed suit. She moved to Massachusetts to attend college at Smith in Northampton. She later met her first husband who was a first generation immigrant from Germany. I do not know anything about him or his story, but after he and my grandmother got married they had my mom and my uncle. My grandma has stayed in Massachusetts since and remarried.
