My object is a tea set from my Nana (my great-grandmother). She gave it to my grandmother. When my grandmother passed I got it. I chose this object because it was my Nana’s. She got it from Brazil when she visited Brazil. It is from Brazil. I don’t know when she got it in Brazil. It was used to drink tea but we stopped using it because we didn’t want to damage it. My nana used this object. She died before I was born so I never met her. But I’ve heard funny stories about her. She was a little old lady who had an attitude! I polished the tea set  with my grandma and it was special to me because it has been a part of my family for over a 100 years and is now a decoration. It has started a lot of conversations with my family. It is made of silver.  And now it  is a decoration in my home.
