My object is a necklace that was given to me by my grandmother.  My grandmother bought it in Mexico.  It is a golden color with a long chain.  I keep it because it has a very valuable meaning for me because my grandmother gave it to me when I was three years old.  It's very important to my culture because it has the Virgin of Guadalupe on the necklace.  My culture has the Virgin of Guadalupe because she was the mother of Jesus and she protects the people.  The necklace shows love because my grandmother gave it to me when I was little and she told me if someday I would travel to United States I should always try my best and never give up. Also she told me that she always loves me and she will always be there to help me.
