Santo Nino de Sebo Statue

My object is a statue of Santo Nino de Sebo and it is from a church in the Philippines. This object is made out of wood, but the one I have at home is made out of wood and cloth. It is used for people when they pray in church. My grandma uses it when she prays at home. The Santo Nino de Sebo is a Roman Catholic title of the child Jesus. The statue was made and compiled in the Philippines.I chose this to be my object because my grandma immigrated to the United States in the early 70s when she was thirty years old. And when my mom grew up she gave my mom a smaller one size of the statue and then gave me an even smaller size of the statue. This is connected to my grandma because every time she travels to the Philippines she goes to the church to see the statue. This is important to my family because it reminds my family about our culture in the Philippines.
