great grandma's painting

This is a painting my great grandma made Zelda. My great grandma’s original name was Zelda but when she came to America she had to change it to Jean. On her grave instead of it saying Zelda Hirsh it says Jean Hirsh.
I chose this item because it tells the story of my great grandma immigrating here.My great grandma’s dad came to the USA and then sponsored Zelda, her sisters and her mom. However, when she came to the USA she had to change her name to Jean. When my grandma, (Bunny/Eileen) was 30 or 40 she saw that Zelda signed the painting “Zelda”. She was confused since she thought her name was Jean. So, Zelda told her the story. This painting teaches me where my name comes from.
I wish I could know more about why she chose to paint a baby clown, a trumpet and a flower pot. I wonder if the things in that painting meant anything to her?
