My grandfather name is Herman Farquharson. He was born and raised in Jamaica. I was not close to him when he was alive however, my dad tells me stories on how he use to take very good care of me when I younger. He burned coal and sold it to local residents in his community for a living to support his family. I know coal to us doesn't seem all that necessary but back in Jamaica they use it for many different reason for instance: it was used it for grilling any and everything. It was a big part of the economy in Jamaica as a result a lot of people did it.
