My Grandmother's clock

My grandmother, my mother's mother was someone who played a major role in my life. She died July 30th 2016, 19 days after my birthday and about 10 days before my family and I were supposed to go to North Carolina and see her. When we went to her memorial service, my aunt was giving some things away and I knew that there were a few things I wanted. This antique clock was one of the things that I always saw but couldn't touch. The clock was something she kept in her room on a top shelf away from the wandering hands of children. I've always loved antiques and I'd always ask if I could have one. When I first saw the clock, It was wrapped in newspaper and kept stored with the other antique clocks and bells. When I got the clock I refused to let anyone hold it and I kept it wrapped up. It now resides in my bedroom window.
