The object that I chose to share about was my grandma's persimmon cookie recipe. One main ingredient this recipe uses is persimmons and the "challenging" part in making the cookies, is making sure that when your buying or picking the persimmon they can't be to hard and they can't be too squishy.  My grandma was handed this recipe when she was a child. She'd make them on holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas with her mom, they also made some of them during the winter to eat them with some coffee or milk. Now my grandma handed down her family recipe to me, so my mom and I can bake some like she did with her mom.
