My dads pin
If you were born in the Holy land ,Israel, once you get to the age eighteen you have to join the IDF or Israeli Defense Forces no matter your gender. My father was born and raised in Israel along with my whole family on my dads side and my mothers father, where they learned to protect their country under any circumstances. After serving his time in the army from 1992-1996 he received a special pin. In those years, Israel was protecting itself against Hezbollah, which is a terrorist organization that's in the country Lebanon. One of the countries that Israel is fighting to this day. This pin means so much to my Aba, dad in Hebrew, because it reminds him of his hard work and experiences he had while serving. This pin is not only blue and white, for Israel, but red and green for Lebanon to show its gratitude and action towards the war.
