My Buddha Necklace Artifact

Group:

My family is an immigrant family. My grandpa came to the United States of America almost 30 years ago! He came to the United States of America because he wanted his family to be rich. But, he didn’t know English, so he worked very hard to earn a little bit of money. My grandma was worried about my grandpa. My grandma couldn’t sleep every night. Her mom said, “Don’t worry!” My great-grandma gave my grandma a necklace, which I wear now. On the necklace it has a Buddha. Chinese people believe in Buddha. He brings good luck and good health. That’s why my grandma wore that necklace for so many years. When I was one year old, my grandma gave me the necklace. My grandma believes it will bring me good luck and good health always. Then my whole family believes Buddha can bring good health to all people who wear him and pray to him.
