My object is a mortar and pestle and my mom brought it from Bangladesh. My mom uses this object to crush spices. In villages, there is a bigger form of this object where you need two people to crush the spices using the mortar and pestle. This object is important to my culture because we put different spices in our food and we need this object to make the spices to put it in the food.It teaches us that we add many different spices in our Bengali food and to crush the spices we need that object. It’s special because we used that object almost every Bengali food.
