Monopoly
Something that is or was important to my family would be playing any type of board game, but for us it would specifically be Monopoly. When I was younger and came back to the United States, I had to learn many things, like the language, traditions, and culture. I always had many types of toys, but none really came close to how our family was able to bond, unlike Monopoly. We would have game nights almost every Friday, and, even if we didn’t play some certain game, we always played Monopoly. This part of my life felt like it was super important to my childhood, and not only mine, but also my brother and sister, since we all came here young. It was good bonding time because we would shut off our phones, so we socialized a lot.
