My object is a chain from Mexico. It is shiny and thin. My object is worn especially for church. My grandmother gave it to me when I was very young. She brought it from puebla atlixo. She wanted this chain to be a recuerdo (memory) for my grandfather who had passed away. She knew I would never meet him, so this chain represents his love for religion and his love for his family. This chain is only worn only on special occasions. I always wear it when I am going to see my grandma. It makes her feel good to see me wearing it because she says that when my grandfather was young I looked just like him. This chain is important to me because I never got to meet my grandfather. I know that his chain is the reason why he loves me and looks after me.
