Mangu is not just an ordinary food for me, to me this represents my past as well as my nationality. Whenever i eat mangu i always think back about my child hood and remember my background and all the people from my past. When i was a child mangu was my favorite food and still is today. Whenever i eat mangu i think about all my family members that live back in my home land the Dominican Republic.
