Mabkhara

A Mabkhara is found across the Arab countries and it’s known as a symbol that represents all the Arabs. The mabkhara was traditionally made from clay and soft stone. A long time ago mabkhara was made in Saudi Arabia and it was made by hand. After making the mabkhara they paint it and design it with very beautiful designs and symbols. As time goes by each design on the mabkhara speaks for itself, it shows the history of all Arabs. There are many different kinds of mabkhara now, there are electric mabkharas and many more new kinds. A mabkhara is very important for all Arabs because it's part of culture also it's very important because Arab people use the mabkhara to start the holidays, weddings and parties also a mabkhara is what makes the house smells good. After interviewing my aunt I learned how important the mabkhara is. According to what my aunt said, “In our country, every house has to have at least 2-3 mabkhara’s because it's what makes the house feels like an Arab house”. This shows how much the mabkhara means to Arab people. Also, I learned how to use the mabkhara the right way also according to my aunt “ to use the mabkhara you need three things Mabkhara, Bakhoor and a charcoal and you need to light the charcoal until you see it become red then you put the bakhoor on it and it will make the good smell”. This is what a mabkhara is and that's how important it is for all Arab.
