I got this in Tanzania after I had met some of the Maasai people and learned how they lived. I had visited a small souvenir shop there near the breakfast place and I found things like these which are now decorations in my home. This is special to me because my parents are from Tanzania, but immigrated here when they were done with college. My favorite Maasai tradition is when they jump really high to symbolize their strength and endurance. One cool thing about this item is that you can take the board and put it in the front or back of him.
