My lucky charm is inside my pillow and I think it is very important to me. I think that because my parents say that the lucky charm makes me sleep better and have good luck. My mom says that mostly Chinese people make this charm and it really helps. She asked my grandma to make me one so I could sleep better. When I was two years old my mom put the charm in my pillow. For a long time, I didn't know what it was so I just didn't think about it. When I grew older, I finally asked my mom about where it came from. My mom told me that it was a kind of charm used in Chinese religion, used by all my family. The charms have been passed down from generations since my grandma, even before my mom and dad were born. The lucky charm also makes me stay healthy and live longer. It also makes me have sweet dreams, instead of nightmares that scare me. My parents say it makes me have a happier, smarter, and more unique. The charm really means something to me and I would like to share it with other people. I am very thankful for my parents for giving this to me.
