The Little Tikes table

I chose this as my object because it represents the relationship I had with my grandpa. He was a very kind-hearted person; he put everyone before himself. He was empathetic and understanding, never got mad at anyone and used kind words to work out problems. He was a pastor and a pilot, and also our babysitter. Up until I was 12, my grandpa would babysit my siblings and I, especially when we were in preschool and elementary school. When I was in pre-school I had half days, so before my siblings got out of school my grandpa would take me to a small airport where he owned a small plane. There was an airplane themed park that we would go to for lunch. For lunch we either bought Mc Donalds or brought peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Along with us we brought a small kids Little Tikes table. It was a plastic bright yellow and orange table. My grandpa had to sit sideways on the table because it was so tiny. At a certain point I had gotten too big for it and my knees would touch the top of it. This object is special to me because my grandpa was very special to me. Since my parents worked I was with him every day after pre-school and I loved hanging out with him. He sadly passed away September 2023, but I will always have those special memories with him.
