My object has a colorful design around it. There is a stick looking thing under the top. You use a rope that circles around the top and then you pull the rope and then the top spins.There are a lot of competitions were two tops face off of each other. You win if the other top stops spinning. My dad and his friends would play with this when they were kids.My dad and his friends would go to the city to see the competitions. This was one of the things they did for fun even if there are better things to do. My dad brought this to America when he was young. He gave one to me when I visited my country. He gave me ten of his old tops. My dad said he got it when he was very very little like 4. His grandpa gave it to him when he went with him. I still don’t know how to spin them because it’s pretty hard to spin. Also the stick looking thing is pretty sharp so you have to be careful so you don’t poke yourself. Also kids collect them.The tops can be big or small the smaller ones are the better ones because they spin a lot and their more common.The bigs tops are pretty rare I don’t have it,but my dad has one. All and all this is important to my culture because people used this for fun and for entertainment.
