This picture is about my life in Myanmar/Burma. I lived in this village when I was born until I left when I was 9 years old. I have many different things I kept in my mind until today about this place. In this village where I lived I used to go to the farm from the morning until the end of the day. At that time I went to the farm with my parents to learn how to grow rice and other plants that we needed to eat. Sometimes my friends and I went out of the village to find food. There are many different ways to find food near this village. My friend and I went to the river on the weekend to fish to find other food in the river. My father grew many different kinds of food and other plants around our house near the farm in the village. I left the village when I was nine years old. I moved to a Thai refugee camp for eight years. I came to the United States when I was 17 years old. When I left my village, I could only take my clothes and my memories of my village with me. I hope one day I will go back to my village to see how my village grew and to taste some food that I used to eat before when I lived there.
