I was in kindergarten when I first played lacrosse and I have never stopped. So, lacrosse from then on has been a major part of my life. It hasn’t just been a part of my life; it has been a part of my family’s life with my brother Jack and sister Molly, both also playing since they were young. I have gotten a chance to play with my brother every other year because he is one grade above me, which has really brought both of us closer together. My dad also coached my brother and me in third, fourth, and fifth grade so lacrosse has always brought my family together. What comes along with all of this is that I always have had my lacrosse stick in my hands. Sometimes it was messing around in the backyard with my stick or playing around in my living room with a tennis ball so I didn’t break anything, or maybe I had a game or practice but whatever it was my lacrosse stick, and I are always together. Lacrosse has made me who I am through all the lessons I have learned from hard work, being on a team, and working through adversity. Of all the lessons I have learned my favorite and what I think is the most important is the harder I work the better results I will get. I think this is such a great piece of knowledge because it is true for anything in life whether it is a new job or simply a goal that I want to achieve. All of these great things have come from just a game... Lacrosse
