La Sagrada Familia is in Bacelona, Spain. Where my grandma grew up. La Sagrada Familia is special to many because when you step into the building you see many colors and different shapes. The whole building is a very unique style. This building became special to my family when my grandma was growing. It was being built at the same time. So when my grandma came back La Sagrada Familia looked different. It showed her lots of beauty that has happened to her home. When my grandma got older she wanted to share this special place with her children. Then when my mom got older she shared it with her children. La Sagrada Familia started its construction on March 19, 1882, it is expected to be finished in 2026. This building is important to my family because it shows us the beauty of the roots of our country. We don’t get to travel to Spain a lot so it’s special to us when we see there are additions. La Sagrada Familia connects me to my family in Spain by showing the beauty and growth of my roots.
