Flor de Izote

I chose La Flor de Izote because this represents my country and it has a very interesting story and it is important to me because my great grandmother, she died several years ago, planted it in her.

It is important for me because my great grandmother planted it in her garden when she was young. After she died, my mom started planting them in the garden to follow what my great grandmother did when she was alive.

This represents my culture because when we celebrate Independence Day we always make La Flor de Izote on paper or in different materials to put them on posters and to take them to school and make a ceremony for the Independence Day. Flor de Izote is native to The Mesoamerican Region. La Flor de Izote, is the National flower of El Salvador.
