Ever since my parents had moved from Korea, we make kimchi together monthly. Kimchi is a Korean staple side dish made of fermented cabbage. Making this side dish requires a lot of work so my family and I come together to make this dish as it helps us be remember our culture. This dish would help us be reminded of our culture/tradition of where I am truly from living in America as a Korean American.
