Typically, how these yearly books look!

With many people in the family, I tend to be unaware of the things in their daily life. As I have my immediate family and only see relatives twice-three times a year, I can only catch up on so much. With the occasional surprise over a new baby, or a new job, I never find out about the relationships, new cars, or hair. Starting in 2000, my great Grandma Pat decided to solve this problem. Once a year, (towards the end) my great grandma began writing a newsletter to the whole family about the small stuff in our lives. Starting small, colo9rless, and no pictures, it has turned into this whole ordeal that looks forward to by all. Now, it is in a notebook, with images to go with writing, and color-the works. Now, it might be a bit overbearing. I get to find out about my distant aunt's messy divorce, or my further cousins' secret hair treatment. Nonetheless, we are prepared for our business to get heard by all and judged by none. Als, who is telling off their sweet great grandma to mind her beeswax? Her decision to write a yearly review has been one her my favorite choices. I had made it on this past year for going to Ireland, and a page after I had discovered my uncle got a new car! This gives me the ability to know the answers to questions we feel like we can’t ask. Or questions we don’t know how to ask. I am grateful for my grandma, her miscellaneous notebooks, and my family. I hope one day I can continue this tradition.
