The most important object to me is my Arabian dagger, called Al-Janabiya. This dagger is an old, beautiful object decorated with gold. My grandfather used to wear it before giving it to my father who offered it to me when I was in Yemen. I wear it on special days like Eid, Friday prayers, and weddings. It represents pride, honor and respect.  This dagger reminds me of my family, my culture, and my religion. Even though I never met my grandfather, I feel closer to him when I wear  it, feeling proud of my ancestors.
