Ice candy is a type of dessert that my mom used to make in the Philippines when my siblings and I were younger, and she would sell it for profit. This dessert consists of mangos, milk, ice, and sugar, which are then blended together to make a type of smoothie. After it’s been blended, you then pour it into these plastic tubes and put into the freezer to harden. To eat it, you cut the top of the plastic, or bite through the plastic until it rips, and suck on it like a popsicle. This dessert was learned by my grandmother which she passed to my mom, then was passed on to my sisters and I. The process of making it is fun, and I would like to pass it on as well.
