This is a Huarache from Oaxaca.

My Oaxacan key chain is a small physical object with a deep meaning. My huarache (sandal) key chain is small, brown, with the words `Oaxaca` embroidered in Mexican cultural colors. I got this keychain in Huajuapan de Leon, Oaxaca, Mexico in a farmers market called El Mercado de Zaragosa: markets like these sell souvenirs and home goods. For example, they sell woven sweaters and handmade clothing. Other objects they sell are mole, candy, and meat, which is a quite common thing to make a profit from. The best part about going to those types of markets is going to buy those keychains, they have a variety of styles, the huarache keychain is one of the most common types they sell because of the meaning behind it in Mexican culture. Therefore, my huarache (sandal) has been an object with a deep cultural meaning, that has reminded me of my roots from Mexico.
