Bracelets
Everyday for as long as I can remember, I’ve worn three bracelets. Two on my left wrist. And one on my right. These are heavily attached to my identity and what kind of a person I strive to be. The first one that I wear is on my right wrist and is all white with the words “DIFFERENT BREED.” in black stitching, the second I wear on my left wrist is silver with the 8 words, “LOVE, PEACE, JOY, HOPE, SERENITY, FAITH, WEALTH, and HAPPINESS”, the third and final bracelet I wear I actually got recently as a 18th birthday gift from my mother that reads, “To my son. Never forget that I love you. I hope you believe in yourself as much as I believe in you. Love Mom.”. These bracelet represents the idea of perseverance and making sure I am always working hard and staying hungry enough (no matter what situation I may be in) to make sure I am maximizing my potential in whatever I want my future to be, what I believe are ultimately essential to making sure you get everything you can out of a single lifetime, and the idea of family first over anything and literally everything.
