Symbolic for riding. Shoe of real horse.

This horeshoe was gifted from my uncle. It was a symbol to always keep riding, having fun and enjoying life. Although this does not directly have an influence on me, I have learnt a lot from it. My mother began riding as a child, going out to the stables on a Saturday morning, rain or shine. Her father, uncles and cousins went crazy about riding. In fact, they would host games and events and have an inner family riding competition. They raced to find out who galloped the fastest, who could jump the highest over obstacles, who could play polo the best, and many more. To this day, when I go to India, I am invited to view the horse racing with my keen mother. Some of my uncles have entered horses that they have personally trained and raised, in hope of getting prizes and/or money. Although ametures, it is clear that horses are taken very seriously in the family, and it will continue to be a family specialty for generations to come.
