Crystal
I received this crystal when I was about 8 years old; it was given to me by my mother and it was given to her from her mother. My mother told me that it was handed down a couple generations from the Tassi family and it means a lot to all of us. The first time I went to Brazil was when I was given this crystal. I remember my grandmother placing it on the windowsill and when the sun hit it, a rainbow reflected off of it. She also said that it’s supposed to fill the room with a healing aroma which I thought was the best part of this crystal. I remember her telling me that when she was little she always kept it in her room so she wouldn’t have bad dreams at night. My mother told me that when she was a kid she used to play with the crystal and always keep it on her night stand just like I do right next to where I sleep. This has been around for a very long time and I plan on keeping it until I have children so I can pass it down to them just like it got passed down to me. I’m not sure who made it or where it actually came from but it is definitely significant to my family and I. It’s been dropped plenty of times before and it’s still as durable as ever, which can represent how strong and close my family is to each other; nothing can tear us apart.
