Horseshoe

My object is the horseshoe. It represents my culture because my mom keeps it above the front door. She puts it on the stove and heats it up so it could stay on the top of the door and stay there till we move out. Sometimes I just stare at It. The horseshoe looks so weird especially being right next to a picture of God hanging on the cross. The first time I saw the horseshoe I asked my mother what was it. She said it was to keep the bad out and I was like “Ok mom.” The horseshoe has been there for 8 years. We moved to a different house so she did the same thing when we moved into that house. It was like 3 years ago we moved in over there. The way she takes it off is with the hammer. You hammer it down and she puts in on the stove again. It looked cool when it was hot. When my mom does that she tells everyone to stay out the way just in case if she dropped it, it wouldn’t touch any of us.
