My family artifact is a stuffed dog my grandma had when she was a kid. When she got older, she passed him on to my dad. He slept with him until he was twelve or thirteen years old. Then he passed him on to me. I am not quite sure how he got into my family, but I sleep with him or keep him in my closet where he is safe. Sometimes I will put him on the couch. His name is Honje which means dog or puppy in Dutch, my dad's language. I hope that I will be able to pass it on, just like my dad did.
