It was my first year of high school in New York. My school hosted a celebration for the Chinese Lunar New Year.  Most performers were wearing HanFu, including me. The reason that this is important to me is because it was my first time wearing HanFu--I had never worn it in China. I knew what HanFu looked like, but I never saw it in real life.  That celebration was really a good experience for me.
