This hat is made in ECUADOR. Many families work doing this, including my family. My grandmother taught me this art when I was in elementary school. After finishing school we had to work doing this.All the women in my town wove these hats because it was their source of income. Every weekend my grandmother brought the hats to the village market to sell them. Those who bought these hats would sell them again until they reached the final process and were exported.
