My object that I chose is my favorite and precious bracelet. Because it was my papa’s bracelet before he passed away. And I got the bracelet when I was six years old and ever since I have never ever let anyone touch it or take it off. My grandfather came to America in the 1990s with my grandma and my father. My grandfather was 31 when he came here and my grandmother was 30 and my father was 10 years old. Then when I was born my grandfather was so happy he spoils me a lot like I never used to get punished or yelled at by my parents because you always take me out of punishment. And he’s always tell me stories about his life with my father and her grandmother in El Salvador 🇸🇻. There was this one story when he first got the bracelet and I remember he told me that it was handmade by his grandfather and his grandmother and he says whoever wears it but only from the family it brings good luck 🍀 and ever since then they decided to pass it down to generation to generation so when I have my kids my firstborn kid has to get the bracelet.
