My family is from Korea. I came to the U.S.A two years ago. A long time ago Korean people used to wear these dresses. But, now they only wear them on New Year’s Day or some other special days. This dress is important to me because at my after-wedding celebration I wore that dress. Also, when I look at this dress I remember my childhood and my early life when I grew up in Korea. I remember how my mother and I went to choose this dress for my wedding.
