Haitian Food
My Mother is a Haitian baker. The picture shown is Legum & rice, and sauce. The Legum is made of Spinach, Cabbage, Carrots, Eggplant. She makes tons of different types of food such as patties, cakes, drinks and many more. My mom came to the United States at 12 years old. She was taught in An ESL class since English was her second Language. After she graduated high school, she went off to college and got a BA degree in elementary education & a minor in black studies. She work grades with grades K-8th. Then she got married to my father on August 12, 2000. 4 years later they had their first child on September 29, 2004 and named her Ayanna Alexis Gilbert.
